Zombies!  We did it!

I'd like to thank all of you for participating in Thrill The World Miami.  Thank you for taking time out of your busy lives as students, parents and grandparents to learn the dance and have fun. You helped fulfill my dream of dancing with zombies (in full zombie garb of course) to Michael Jackson's Thriller.  I hope you all had a wonderful time and I hope I wasn't too bossy...ha ha.

Thank you to my Assistant Event Manager Lorraine, she did alot of work behind the scenes to help me pull this off.  Thank you to my volunteers...I couldn't have done this without you either!

Because of your fund raising efforts and donations, we were able to raise over $1700 for The Smile Train and The United Way.  The funds are due by Saturday, so it's still not too late to donate if you didn't get the chance to do so at the event (perhaps we can make it to $2000?).  You can click here and donate through The Smile Train website or you can mail a check to me at:

The numbers are NOT final, but here is the tally so far:
approximately 23,000 people in 32 countries danced "Thriller" at the same time!
And, over $100,000 USD raised for over 80 charities!!!
Lastly, we broke last year's record (4,179 people) for Largest Simultaneous Thriller Dance with the Record Holders Republic. Certificates from RHR will be available for order soon. I'll tell you details as I get them.
